Hotel Jansen – not for tourists, Amsterdam
This hotel is not aimed at tourists, but at students and young workers who want to live in the city for a semester or for an internship, for example, for anywhere from one day to six months.
Hotel Jansen
The idea is to help them feel at home, meet other people and explore the city.
The hotel has 166 rooms of eighteen square metres, spread over six floors. There is a Club Room on every floor, where guests can cook, study and socialise.
Each floor is decorated after a well-known neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The neighbourhoods each have their own colour scheme, unique photo wallpaper, range of handmade furniture, kitchen, bathroom and artwork.
