PROVADA 2024: Creating smarter value together in the real estate supply chain

The event is over! For us, PROVADA 2024 was all about creating smarter value together in the real estate chain. In fact, we firmly believe that we can and must work together to solve the challenges we are facing. Time to reflect on three days bursting with inspiration, meetings, contract signings and, of course delicious lunches, dinners and even some bubbly.

A festive start

We kicked off PROVADA with festivities at our (at the time) ‘incognito’ stand. After a brief word from our very own Joziene van de Linde, she and VDL Managing Director Pieter Van Der Leegte unveiled the new logo. A fantastic milestone, which we of course celebrated with a glass of bubbly. The first day concluded with an inspiring residential care dinner, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Challenges and solutions for the residential care sector were discussed over dinner.

Innovation and collaboration

At 8.30 am on Wednesday, the Van der Valk hotel in the Zuidas was already filling up for our breakfast session. It was a morning dedicated to industrial aesthetics, with expert Iris Thewessen and architects Volker Ulrich, Rogier Mentink and Duzan Doepel sharing their views on the topic. Using impressive examples, they showed the audience just how attractive modular construction can be. In keeping with this concept, we signed two special collaboration agreements at our stand with Doepel Strijkers architects and VURB architects. They will soon start producing their modular housing concepts at our factory in Oirschot. This is allowing us to pool together our knowledge and resources to increase our impact on the real estate market. And yes, there was also plenty of food for thought over dinner on day two. This time, representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, the provinces of North Brabant and Limburg and several companies, such as Randstad, came together to explore the topic of smart cooperation between government and business.

The future of real estate

We dedicated the finale of this fantastic trade fair to the future of real estate. During a lively lunch session, young talents shared their fresh ideas on housing market issues. Our young professional Paul Verhoeven, together with Stefan Pannekoek of Modular Netherlands, led the discussion, which generated innovative solutions and new perspectives. By working with different partners and young talents, and by focusing on innovative and sustainable solutions, we can create smarter value in the real estate chain. With our new logo and fresh collaborations, we are ready to shake up the real estate industry. Cheers to a successful PROVADA and a promising future!
